The iconic tale reimagined for its UK premiere.
A love that defies convention. A woman who refuses to be contained.
Charlotte Brontë’s Jane Eyre burns with love, defiance and a fierce determination to be free. Now, the five-time Tony Award-nominated musical brings this extraordinary story to the stage in its UK premiere at Southwark Playhouse.
Driven by Paul Gordon’s powerful score, Jane’s journey from an unwanted child to a woman determined to choose her own life comes to the stage in this visceral adaptation. At its heart is the unforgettable relationship between Jane and Rochester; two people drawn together against reason, convention and the hidden secrets of the heart.
